After Rob's fishing season, Madelynn and Donna joined him for their summer vacation. En-route to Melbourne, they had an extended layover in Hawaii for 5 days. With the flight being a long one, eighteen hours to Melbourne, it was nice to have this break on Oahu- what a fun beautiful island! This was Donna's first ever tropical adventure. The only place she has ever flown to before was California and Sudbury. Needless to say, this was very special for her. And for Madelynn, the dream and wish of experiencing Hawaii was fulfilled. Thanks to Lucille and Donald for caring for and helping Joelle, Bennett, and Glenn get settled in Melbourne. Rob's trip to Alaska and this layover in Hawaii wouldn't have been possible without them. Wish they didn't have to have left Melbourne so early upon our arrival. We're here for a year, so maybe they'll be back. We hope so. Thanks!
